A chronicle of community
An important part of the Ages of Beauty project is collecting and sharing stories from Montreal’s seniors to show how they comprise and have contributed to the community. Each story represents both a facet of the community and a facet of the complex individual who is sharing this experience with us.
Our goal is to bring these stories to life and show how the participants’ experiences have helped shape the world we live in today.
Ultimately, these stories will be published in the form of a book to be shared amongst the community.

Each story is also accompanied by a portrait from a local artist, aiming to capture the essence of the participant, their personality and their experience.
